Thanks giving might not be tomorrow, next week, or even next month, but it is coming! Whathuh studios has taken on the task of revamping the Annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot website, and it will be rolling out in a week. The Annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot is a 5K Fun Run event held in Elmhurst, Illinois every year on Thanksgiving morning. All proceeds from the event benfit the Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation, the 200 shelters it supports, and the DuPage PADS. Last year alone over $240,000 worth of food was bought as a direct result of this event. The gun goes off at 9am, and its always a great time. If you don’t want to run, feel free to make a donation, and have a Bloody Mary! All proceeds from Bloody and Beer sales go to the cause as well. Not a drinker? There is some great Turkey Trot merchandise you can buy including everything from boxer shorts to high quality fleece jackets.
